The swivel bracket holding the Carbonio needs to be exactly perpendicular to the grille slats. It's hard to see, thus easy to not twist to right angle. Like I posted above, mine survived the car wash twice.

Installed the newly released StoNSho Macan III mount today. Super happy with it. So glad I toughed it out w/ my cheap Amazon tow hook mount until StoNSho released this. Easy install, No drill. Just bolts to two existing screws. I re-used the factory screws they seem to have plenty of length, and a broader head which is probably better. They supply two longer screws w/ the kit but they have small heads. Pics below. Best solution I have seen for the Macan III in my opinion. And easily removed to wash the vehicle. Couldn't be happier w/ this solution!!
Decided to get off of my butt and installed the SKENE bracket ($49.99) that was collecting dust in my garage. For the '22 Macan GTS, "short" size is the one to get. As you can see in the pictures, brackets are adjustable (height & tilt). I went with the same vertical placement as the OEM plastic bracket. Install was very simple-just take your time measuring everything.
Looks great! Did you use the same holes that the OEM bracket was using? Or did you have to drill your own?
