Do you have the correct part number so I can confirm with the vendor when ordered? Thanks.
I just talked with Carbino regarding returning my unit. They said that they had a issue on their web site which they have now just updated. He said if you order it will now be correct.
I don't have the new mount, but mine is sturdy enough to survive a trip through the car wash. Twice, because I keep forgetting it's there. So freeway and rough roads ok.
How do you like the license plate mount? Is it sturdy enough for daily freeway commute?
No issues. Aside from the underground adhesive, the mount is not touching the bumper, aside from the rubber stops that are protecting the mount from the bumper
Personally I'd rather have two holes drilled hidden behind a mounting frame than one of the offerings that have offset mounting...but that's just me.
I bought one for my 2022 Macan S, ACC/Surround View, and have not gotten it to work. I seems it's really intended for the upper part of the grill therefore would block the ACC radar sensor. It doesn't really fit properly on either of the two lower portions of the grill but I managed to sort of securely mount it there using rubber pipe insulation fill in the gaps. But the front camera then picks it up as an obstacle. This is also what I'm wondering about the pictures on the thread of other centerline mountings, how they avoid that. I just finished (today) testing it and I might give it another try mounting it off center with more pipe insulation to make it fit there. But no, not recommended if you have ACC.
I have a '22 Macan S with ACC, and the Rennline tow hook plate bracket worked perfectly, no issues at all, part #: REN-E1070-166-USA.
I was about to order this but decided to contact Rennline first---Kenny replied that it DOES NOT fit our 2022 Macans. I was skeptical since the fitment chart shows it fits the 2022 911 but leaves off Macan. YMMV?

Porsche loves to randomly change the thread pitch, thread shape, and thread direction on the screw in tow hook spot. They change it on some models but not others. I have had this convo with Rennline on a couple of cars I have owned. Weird.
For example on my 2020 GT4 the pitch and direction were the same as the 718 Cayman models before, but the shape of the thread was changed from square to round in 2020 so the tow hooks/plate mounts would not fit, despite that it was not changed on other models such as the 992.

After reading this thread I ordered the model whatsshakin mentioned, Rennline, from Pelican Parts, and it fit my 2022 Macan S. Note I posted just above how I could not attach Cravenspeed one, which is supposed to attach to the center of the grill, without covering the ACC sensor. Cravenspeed was good about sending a mailing label to return for full refund though. I guess Pelican would also, no guarantees obviously.

Any chance you can post a pic? Think more pictures showing user's experiences will help. Also researching this now.
