Price lock in
I am looking into getting a Macan S and planning on placing my order in June. I have heard that there may be a quite significant price increase on all models for the 2023 model year due to everything that has been going on. My question is that if I order the car in June will the price lock in at the time of order or at the time of delivery?

I would not assume that unless you get something in writing from the dealer.

I've ordered two P-cars so far and the price that I paid when I picked up the vehicles were what what was agreed upon at the time of the order. As always and as mentioned above, get it in writing.

Not sure when the model year change over will be but this may effect a June order/Q3 build. If so, the dealer may simply want to stipulate 2023 MSRP. If that's your timeline, I would think it would be better to get a 2023 even if there is a price increase (assuming you don't get a material discount on a 2022).

I'd think the best you can expect is an agreement for purchase at 2023 MSRP, whatever that turns out to be. Unless you have bought a bunch of Porsche's from this dealer and they are inclined to promise you a discount. A promise of no ADM would be a good objective.

Well there was a significant price increase for 2022 too, then ADM on that. I did agree a price on order but noted the current advertised ADM (little label on the dash for all to see) had increased when I picked up, but my price was not changed. ADM's have always been around and are even on Macans now, it might be a while before the habit goes away if it even does.

I had it in writing for ours delivered 13 months ago. They had my non refundable deposit too, so all happy.
