Decided to finally pull the trigger and have Raymond install the PCM5 carplay/android auto “whole screen” upgrade. He offered $50 off to forum members so total came out to be just under $600. Had a few hiccups with the process due to my router blocking the VPN and my laptop being older and deciding to take random naps during the middle of installation. Through it all, Raymond remained extremely professional and patient. He was able to walk me through it and once connected, it was a quick 20 minutes to liberation. It was a bit wild watching my computer/car being controlled remotely and I have to say, I’m so glad Raymond is using his gifts for good and not evil. Yes it sucks that we have to pay for a feature that should have came default from Porsche but I’m just grateful we even have the option to pay for this fix. Don’t bother looking further, Raymond is your guy, pay the man for his hard work and start enjoying full screen freedom.
