I haven’t been able to find any information on replacing this sensor. It looks like access is quite tight. Any advice? How difficult is it to replace? Is some kind of calibration required after replacement?

I ended up just replacing the lower mount with link attached and re-used the sensor / green arm. Wasn’t too tough. Replacing the whole sensor looks much more challenging.
