Default Need to get a good Touch up paint

My 2021 Macan is barely 3 month of ownership. I saw this deep scratch after I went through the car wash to remove salt. I hope this is not from the car wash. Never had this kind. I only got tiny chip on
my Cayenne. Could be from rock salt flying off the road. What is the best way to touch up the scratch? I was looking at Color N Drive not sure if it's a good one. Really an eyesore for me it's right in the middle of the hood. Car color is Volcano Grey. What's the best way to touch this up?

To follow up, I showed it to my brother. He thinks it came from the car wash not from rock salt. Really upset now. Not going to go there again.

LOL
MINE'S BIGGER

Thanks for posting the chip. I've had this keyed "I love you" on my hood for a couple of months. Great motivation to fix it with the rare good weather here.

Lots of instructional YouTube vids on how to do it. Clean, fill, sand, polish.

I had mixed results with McGuire's Scratch X on a black rental Town car. Till it appeared the scratch was deep. So some black shoe polish before I returned it.

Tried some on my 911 TT, worked fine on a light scratch.

More, I take it to the detailer.

I have the touch up, just lazy. I should probably just buy another because the stuff I have has been sitting in the garage window for a while...

The paint on these cars seems very soft and easy to scratch/chip. I do xpel on my cars for that reason. I do not know of a specific brand of touch up, but when you get it, watch some videos or have a pro do it for you for best results. I have done it in the past with poor results just winging it.

I just (re)ordered Dr Colorchip to do some chip repair on our basic white 911. I’m reasonably proficient at this but found the color match lacking when I tried several years ago. I will post results with photos when it is warm enough to do the work.
