Default Can you run 18" on a the Macan Turbo

Looking at a new set of wheels for winter tires and wanted to put 18" on the 2015 Turbo but wondering if 18's will clear the brakes. Anyone tried 18's on their Turbo?

I did without problem on my '18 GTS, and arguably if they clear the fronts then they'll clear the rears. See more in this thread:

My brother in law ran 18s on his GTS, same brakes.
I now have them on my S.
235/18 square.

Thanks. I found a set of Audi SQ5 wheels (18's) with Blizzaks that I was going to see if they would fit. They have an ET of 45 versus the ET of 26 for the Turbo. Not sure if they will work or if I might have to run a 10mm spacer.

Careful with spacers. The bolts need to be long enough. Perhaps someone else can give max spacer size with the stock bolt length.

Found a set of Macan S wheels in 18" with a square setup of 235/60R18, Rear size is: 255/55R18 - smaller than the Turbo setup but dont see why this wouldnt work for the winter setup.

Wondering if you guys ever run smaller width tires for winter? Tire Rack offers this size setup so dont see that it is a problem.

That is the standard OEM setup for 18's and is what I run on my GTS. Narrow tires are better in snow. Also, square means the same width front and rear so these are not square they are staggered.

Thanks. I mis-stated the square setup after I pasted in the tire size. Sounds like these will work fine but will for safety sake put a front wheel on to make sure they clear the brakes.

Yes you can run the stock 18" wheels on a Macan turbo. They will clear the brakes.

I run Konig Hypergrams with BFG A/Ts on my '15 Turbo.
