I’m ordering a 2022 Macan S and after test driving the 2021 model and looking at pictures in the configurator and videos of 2022 model, I see that the Sport Chrono **** is different. On 2021 the **** has all modes displayed with a red LED light that indicates which mode is selected. On 2022 model it’s just text “Drive Mode”. Does anyone know what’s up with that? And if 2022 model will actually just have the text “Drive Mode”. I find it ugly compared to previous one and I really don’t want looking at that text on the **** every time I enter my car.

I had that on my 992C4S. Whilst I prefer the current Macan SC selector over this, I can honestly say I never once paid any attention to the text - too busy hanging onto the steering wheel watching the horizon rapidly approach me 😂

Yeah eventually I will stop noticing it, but it still bugs me lol. It feels like a step back in features.
I don't disagree, but now when you spln the dial, it choices are shown in the dash screen for selection. Two steps forward, one back.
Sorry I’m not following… My current MY21 Macan shows the mode selected in the dash when the (original) selector is changed, my MY19 992C4S did the same with the ‘new Macan’ selector. Does this operate differently on the MY21 Macans?
