They opened as soon as the configurator went live a couple weeks back.

European orders will see delivery starting at the end of this year.

US orders will see delivery starting in the Spring...maybe April??

All of that is of course if things stay on track with current estimates of availability of components.

I wouldn't expect much if any discount these days. Unless you're happy just buying off the lot, but given that there's not going to be much in the way of lot inventory for the foreseeable future, again, not expecting much in the way of discounts.

I've seen early April allocations for an S. @spragedawley - what part of the country do you live in to get that sort of discount? Sent you a PM, too.

I talked with my SA a couple weeks ago. Said they are looking at April delivery for base or S. Said it looks more like summer for GTS.

I am in the market for the GTS, but will not be in a huge rush with the ~12 month wait. Will monitor chip shortage for a bit before committing.

My intention is to buy the 2022 at the end of the lease (2025) depending on what the new cars are like as far as ICE engines are concerned...

Last week, I ordered an S for European delivery. We want to go in mid-late April so the dealer is grabbing a March manufacturing allocation. My understanding is that right now, they are giving January manufacture dates, so delivery would be some weeks (6-8?) after that. We don't want to pick up in the winter, so we are happy with the March to early April manufacture date.

April 20th for my S, although dealer said it’s a totally made up date, will most likely be May. I ordered on August 12th.

Ordered our base today, delivery shows 1/28 via Porsche. S/gts slated for April, but that’s an estimate. All dates are estimated at this point, so not sure how it’s made up

My local dealer told me the base models would be arriving around November and they hope to see the first of the GTS's around April. He also said the first 4 months of the GTS's are already spoken for.
He said they were only doing at MSRP right now also.
