My wife's 2017 Macan S periodically wouldn't unlock, switched keys, changed key fob batteries, also sometimes the seat wouldn't move to position 2 without a key in the ignition and turned on. After trying everything, I replaced the battery with a diehard AGM and all is well.

Many Porsches exhibit bizarre electrical-centric behaviors when their batteries are going south. When unexplained weird stuff starts to happen, check your car’s battery

A good battery should last at least 4 or 5 years. At least batteries can be tested so that you don't have to throw away money by replacing a battery unnecessarily.
