Default Macan S owners list favorite aftermarket performance mods

We all know that there are a bunch of Porsche options which you can get on the car. But what are your favorite aftermarket performance modifications? Engine, suspension, software, tires, what ever.

Having a 2017 delivered in a few days so interested in what you feel gave you the biggest bang for the buck.

. Have had three of them. They were all a blast. R Gruppe hotrod club member. Down to my modified 914-6

Looks like I will be going it alone since apparently no one has modified their cars or their keyboards were stolen. Have to say this forum is very different than the Cayenne and 911 forums I subscribe to. Put out a question and get bombarded by helpful people wanting to share. Maybe it’s because of the demographic.

A year of ownership of 2 Macans: * Modified intakes (dremel tool) * Racechip GTS Black * Pending diverter valves * Airmatic lowering links -9mm (PASM) * 2 x BMC air filters * limited on tires for 21" wheels; 18" winters.
My Macan Turbo did not have the sport exhaust; however, my current Macan S does and it sounds delicious. I won't mess with the exhaust yet. The diverter valves are next. I'm seriously thinking of getting a coding module (Launch, Autel), just not convinced on which one.

I bought a 2017 Macan S about 3 weeks ago. Congrats, it’s a fantastic and very lovable vehicle. I’ve put more than 2,200 miles on mine so far.

I haven’t done anything yet to mine, but I’ve been eyeballing the Cobb Accessport device and the stage 1 ECU tune. It’s just a matter of time for me before I go that route, but I’m in no hurry. The car feels plenty fast enough for me at the moment. I’ve heard nothing but positive reviews about the tune and it is quick and easy to revert back to stock.

I’m thinking about upgrading the exhaust, as the only options my vehicle didn’t come with was the sport exhaust and panoramic roof. The stock exhaust is just fine and even sounds nice, but I’d like a little more volume inside the car.

It could just be that I haven’t been spoiled by a “real” sportscar, but the Macan S is plenty car for me and is by far the fastest and best handling vehicle I’ve ever owned. The previous cars I’ve owned that I’d call fast cars don’t even come close - a stock 1990 Mustang GT and a heavily modified 1979 Corvette. At this point, I’m in no hurry to upgrade. I can’t believe a car that weighs over 4,000 pounds, has four doors, and a trunk is as fantastic of a driver as it is.

Enjoy your S and happy upgrading!

Just curious, have you tried rolling down the windows?
(sorry, just kidding, couldn't resist)

And mess up the perfectly climate controlled air inside?

I’ve been living in the lap of luxury now that I’ve got a Porsche! Those windows don’t open except to shoo away feral children and peasants when they get to close to the paint job.

IMHO, BGB/Cobb tune, if AS, lowering links or module, change to ceramic brake pads (oem are filthy), flat 6 intake. Diverters $$. If no PSE, Soul or Fab cat backs with valve control. Your priorities may vary.

we’ll see if this works

I might have just made a liar out of myself, I’m missing two other options besides the panoramic roof and sport exhaust. I forgot that I don’t have adaptive cruise control and ventilated seats, but I don’t care about those things.

cobb tune, fabspeed exhaust, would love to lower it 3" but can't justify spending the money on a daily driver
