Default Help? Taillight Dimensions?

I know this is a super random question.
Could somebody please provide the dimensions of their 2018 or older Macan's taillights including both pieces? I would need the dimensions as if if they were one piece.
I do not own a Macan, but I am playing with the idea of trying to retrofit pre-2019 Macan Taillights into a 928 S4 Bumper in order to update/semi-modernize some components of the 928.
They are similar in shape so I think they would look great, but I need to get the general idea of their dimensions compared to that of the S4 taillights to begin estimating the custom bodywork.
I would fabricate a mounting plate/bracket to hold the two individual tail light components together as one, and then mount that backplate to the existing 928 mounting points, after the bumper work was completed.

Thanks again for any and all of your help!

So if I understand correctly, you want the dimensions of a 2019 or prior Macan back lights to see if you can fit those onto a 928S? You do see that the Macan is a two piece design and the 928 is a single piece right? Unless you're looking at a 2020 Macan where the back light spans the entire width of the vehicle

Yes you are correct, prior to 2019 dimensions. Yes I am aware it is a 2 piece design and I already have accounted/planned for that in fabricating a plate that both pieces would mount to, to be then fitted into the 928 bumper and either A) fill work be done, or B) additional trimming of the bumper.
That same plate would then mount to the existing 928's tail light mounting points.

Sorry I can't help you as I have a 2020, but I'd rather fit the SPDESIGNSEST back lights on my 2020 Macan than the MKX version we have on the new Macans. The grass is always greener... very nice 928 you have there btw!

Gen 1; I did a quick (rough) measurement of 67.95cm x 14.60cm. Length accounts for the small gap between the two pieces. It tapers down from the center, I didn't get those dimensions. I'd have to get my calipers out to measure exact dimensions. Hope that's a start.

We're FINALLY going metric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's about time!

For those not familiar with the decimal system: 26.75" x 5.75"

I've never understood the U.S.'s reliance on such an imprecise measuring system. We didn't use "inches/feet" in the military, we used mil/cent/kilo/meters. As it is, we're using (LOL) "miles per hour".

For those of us who remember, Prez Nixon said we'd be going metric... but then again he also said he wasn't a crook... Metric is way overdue
