Default ‘21 GTS born today!

Built a ‘21 Macan GTS. It received a VIN # today! ETA 12/18/20 but of course that could change.

Looking forward to our first Macan. It will replace 2 cars as we prefer no more than 3 to fit the garage.

The 2018 Panamera4 is gone and the 2018 BMW 330i xdrive sportwagon will depart upon the GTS arrival.
A friend is buying the wagon so it’ll be a painless transition. I will miss the wagon. Great, versatile car that you don’t see often. But hubby finds the ride a bit too harsh. The Macan was quite comfy (test drives) and has a plush ride compared to the wagon.

Picked up the set of winter wheels/tires today that our service Mgr ordered. Apparently they’re in short supply and came from Germany. We'll be ready for winter whenever the Macan, and the weather, arrives.

Looking forward to learning here, and contributing where possible.

Congratulations! What color and options did you all go with?

The GTS is a great fun car. I had a 2018 GTS, and I am waiting for my 2021 GTS to be delivered on November 20th.

I know that you will have the most amazing time driving her.

^Thank you. I’m sure it’ll be fun. A bit roomier than the wagon with a better ride. In the test drive it handled quite well. I’m a fairly conservative driver on public roads as I get my “speed-fix” on the track. So I don’t need it to be a “sports car”.

Nov 20 is around the corner. Congrats on your incoming GTS!

The build:

Dolomite Silver
Leather Int (Black)
Trailer hitch
PSCB / white calipers
Heated Steering wheel
20” Macan Turbo wheels / Ext color
Sport Chrono
Smoking Package (we are not smokers)
Carbon Fiber int trim
Side blades in ext color
Porsche logo satin black
smartphone compartment w/charging
premium pkg plus which includes:
auto-dimming mirrors, surround view, ventilated front seats, LED headlights in black, PDLS+, Porsche entry/drive, Heated seats F&R, pano roof, Bose surround, LCA, 14-way seats with memory

I think that’s everything.

Just picked up the Porsche 5 spoke winter wheels with Pirelli winter tires.

Icing on the cake

So far very happy with our choice. Only about 400 miles as we don’t go out much these days.

Carol,

Looking forward to further up-dates and lots and lots of pictures.
Plus, what you think of it after you put some miles on it ???

I was so surprised when I received my package. I really wasnt expecting anything like that. Its the small touches that make the difference! Not sure the pen is of very high quality though. My daughter (who is 17 by the way) grabbed it and tried to twist it, like some pens are.... broke in half and no wont fit back together. Her face was worth it though!
