Default Cargo Management

What do you use to keep your groceries in place?

Tired of finding my produce scattered around the cargo area when I get home.

I use a nice hard box from Ritter Sport that we picked up during Factory Delivery in Germany in conjunction with the Cargo Management System. The Suncoast web site also sells several options as well here: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKUTRUNKBOX.html

Before going to the supermarket (or Costco, where we typically buy most of our groceries) I just throw 2-3 empty boxes in back and fill them up when I wheel the shopping cart to the car. But most of the time, when we are not shopping and when our new Macan will arrive, we will use the cargo area for our golf clubs, so no real need for the Cargo Management System which may, in fact, get in the way.

The CMS is removable and reconfigurable. It comes with the two-sided Mat, one side carpet and one side rubber. It comes with the telescoping aluminum bar as you see in the picture. It has a net which blocks anything from moving form the cargo area to the passenger area and can be installed behind the front or rear seats depending on whether or not you put the rear seats down. Also comes with four tie down slidable tiedown points that go in the track. Pretty nifty system and well made.

Was looking at that one, (CMS) but I’m guessing it doesn’t work with the liner.

I may take another look at the collapsable boxes you linked though.

Simply throw an 8 lb moving blanket over them. Leave the moving blanket in the cargo area for carrying furniture, dirty things, etc

The CMS also comes with a flexible restraining strap that is moveable and adjustable for odd shaped loads that keeps everything in place as well. You have to order it with the car not sure if CMS can be retrofitted.

CMS can be done as a retrofit.

The "other" forum has a thread on it. IIRC, some of the parts can be ordered via Audi, saving $ome money...

Check the Weather Tech site they have corner pieces that stick to the carpeting and can be moved around into any configuration

After some research, I ordered a trunk organizer from Amazon.

Amazon Amazon

30"W X 14.75"D X 9"H and comes with three infinitely adjustable dividers. Should be able to hold four grocery bags.

Will update thread when it arrives and I get a chance to use it.

And at, I believe $350, a bargain factory option by Porsche standards but rarely ordered because the configurator does an awful job of explaining it. It also comes with a cargo area floor to ceiling divider net too.

I got the net that covers most of the floor in the back. I tuck the grocery bags under the net.

I have it... it’s nice, only drawback is you can’t use them cargo liner at the same time. I get why... but it would be cool if everything worked together... not one versus the other.

Use the back seat. Have tall bags? Use the passenger harness to secure. Or, put bags on the floor.

The "Mac" replaced a 2010 Mercedes that had a double-side hook that pulled down from the roof of the trunk. (Much shorter distance). That worked really well..
