18 way vs 14 way seats

I'm 5' 11" and 180 lbs, and the 14 ways are perfect for me. I normally gravitate right to the sportiest option, but I thought the 18s were too much to deal with on a regular basis. The SO thought the 14s were much more comfortable as well.
With the adjustability of the seats and steering wheel, I can get as close to the wheels and pedals as I need to and feel perfectly plugged into the car. I normally sit very close to the wheel for more control.

This is probably a dumb question, but the 14-way and 18-way seats in the Macan are different than the 14-way and 18-way in the 718 / 911 correct? I mean, I realize they probably have the same adjustments, but the seats don't seem to look anything alike between the Macan and sports cars.

We just purchased a brand new 2021 Macan GTS with the 18 way seats. Its my wife's car and she preferred them over the 14 way seats. I preferred the 14 way. Its her car so she won. Its very individual. You really need to try them out. If unsure, I recommend you get the 14 way seats to be safe. Those who hate the 18 way seats really hate them. Those who prefer the 18 way seats don't seem to hate 14 way seats. (my impression from the discussions here)
