Oil/dust seal (?) for front Bilstein Struts
I am replacing the Bilstein struts on my '77 911S. I note that at the top of the strut is a cap and a seal, like an oil seal. I want to replace these but cannot find replacements through my local Porsche shops. They have learned that Bilstein wants me to send them the struts so that they can replace the seal. Anybody had this experience? Or have any suggestions. I'm not sure what the seal does anyhow. Thaks.
