MACAN vs 911 (996-997 etc)
WOW the Macan's must be so much "better" than the 911's, most of the postings on the Macan board are about "inconsequential stuff" whereas the 911's have real problems....IMS, D chunk, Scoring..etc
ps This is my first Macan, I currently own a 996 and have had about 15 P cars over the years...

Like my children, they are very different and I love them both!
Older: 2010 C4S manual, PASM, DCS, PSE
Younger: 2017 Macan Turbo, PDK
The older one is raw and planted with extreme handling and pure power...while the younger one is more refined, sophisticated, and comfortable (and can spool up quickly if needed).
In traffic, the younger one is a pleasurable experience.... while the older one is my go-to for open and twisty roads (or even a weekend stroll with the sunroof open, radio off and PSE wide open).
Both are taunted occasionally...sometimes by a pesky Tesla, other times a Mustang or even a troubled Prius....so they are either taught a quick lesson or forgiven for what they don't know!
