Yes, I have read threads on Cayenne noise unhappiness with new “option upgrade” (not PCCB), which are “option” on 2nd gen. Any R’list wisdom welcome as to whether same might be a “direct swap” for gen 1 when the inevitable replacement time arrives. Specifically related to Turbo gen 1.
To me, swapping on a better set up, does make sense.
But cost matters to moi. Same price, or close, sure.
X3+ ? I wouldn't consider it.
Happy with my non turbo pricing.
Hundred dollar rotor replacements, Hundred dollar pads. Good for me.
Rotors or pads, are a consumable. Tungsten carbide brakes? Makes your bank account a consumable.
You’ll need deep pockets. Reason: the coating comes off the rotors. At that point they must be replaced. Different calipers and only in white. The rotors are massive in diameter. You’d probably need a special adapter kit for the new calipers.
