Rear Wiper Washer Nozzle Leaking
I have a '18 GTS bought new in Nov'18. After a few months the rear washer nozzle, nestled in the rear spoiler at the top of the rear window, started to leak. What's more, it wasn't leaking just washer fluid, but some rusty or brown looking liquid (residue?). It would trickle out randomly. In terms of quantity it would leave a streak about half way down the rear window and sometimes farther before stopping/drying. If I didn't wipe it off, after a few days/weeks there would be several of these streaks.
As the car is under warranty I've taken it to the dealer now twice to be fixed, both times to no avail. The last time was last week and I haven't used the rear washer since getting it back. It still leaks! It's nothing major of course, except that I have this unsightly brownish streak(s) on my rear window and I'm reminded of it every time I look in the rearview mirror. Has anyone experienced this? And other than replacing the nozzle, did someone figure out where the source of the problem is?
My guess (and overthinking it) is that it could an issue with the pump (hence the brownish color). I am guessing the system is pressurized to some extent when the car is running and that with a leak somewhere it's forcing the liquid through when not in use. Lastly the rear wiper washer works as normal otherwise.
Thanks!

Since you're in the "Greater NY area", I'm guessing there's another P dealer within striking distance of you that you could go to instead? If so, I'd try that.

I have an appointment for the dealer to try and fix it one more time. This time they are set to replace the pump thinking this could be the source. I will report back after the fix.

This issue was reported several times back when the Macans first appeared in North America.
Curious it's now showing up again a few years later.
Check the 'other' Macan Forum and you'll find some posts on the subject.
Check these URLs found as a result of a google search string: macanforum rear washer leak

I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP HERE . . .
I read reports of this common issue on the Macan Forum, hoping my late 2018-build Macan Turbo wouldn't be plagued with this rather silly problem.
Sure enough, when the weather became consistently hot outside, it would happen whenever the car was parked in the hot sun all day.
It would not do it on days when the ambient temp was lower or if I left the car sheltered in the garage.
My Macan's 'rear dribbles' issue got fixed when I told my dealership there were reports of an updated replacement "Spray Jet" part available now, which includes a check valve that effectively eliminates the problem.
This part was installed 6 weeks ago, and Hooray - it works !!
So - tell your service advisor to ensure that this part number is ordered and installed this time : 95B-955-985-A Spray Jet
Hope that works for you ...
Good luck !

Rear Washer Drip
I'm reviving this thread because my 2021 GTS also has this drip. Seems to happen when the car sits out in the sun for anything more than 20 minutes. Sorry to see that this is still a problem, though not a big enough deal for a special dealer trip. I'm always cleaning the damn rear window on this car anyway. Will have it addressed next time I am near the dealer.

Just run the spray and clean it? The rear glass looks like it needs a wipe anyway...
It's good to know there is a part available to fix this, but the back of Macans get dirty so fast anyway not sure it's worth the effort.

Our 2022 Macan GTS does the same in hot weather. Our 2019 VW Golf R has the same issue...probably uses the same parts. FWIW our Golf (owned since new) has been to the dealer 3x in it's life for this problem. The replace the nozzle and it gets better for about 6 months then starts doing it again.

The wipers (and the washers) are still unused on my 2022 Macan.
Several months ago the rear washer suddenly started dribbling while driving during each usage, enough to make the rear window have a dribble stain.
Then, just as suddenly, w/o any action on any part, after several weeks the problem abated and there has not been any instance of this problem.
