2020 Macan S Timing
A local, Los Angeles dealer is showing a couple 2020 base Macans inbound. Don't know if this is an internet "teaser" or fact. Before I visit another local dealer later this week about purchasing a 2019/2020 Macan S, I was wondering if anyone has heard the timing of when 2020 Macan S's will be orderable / actually arrive. I assume there will be no technical difference between the 2020 and 2019's. Comments?
Added: Any word on a GTS, Turbo, or Turbo S Macan in the 2020 lineup? If so, estimated ordering / delivery timing?
Updated 08/14/19: Ordered a 2020 Macan S today. Estimated delivery just before Christmas here on the West Coast. No Macan S with Sport Exhaust and safety features we wanted in 2019 inventories even though the dealer had 35 Macan S's on the roof. Dealer was ordering with limited options besides Premium Package and 20 inch Turbo wheels for their potential leasing customer base.
Updated 09/13/19: 2020 Configurator now shows Macan Turbo, plus enhanced Macan S exterior options (IE "Macan S" on sides).

Here on the east coast, a NJ dealer.
Ordered: 7/30/19
Build locked: 8/19/19
Estimated arrival: 11/15/19
Only difference is a $900 increase total with the base price and delivery charge. No price changes in the options or are there any new options vs. 2019.

Production for the 2020 base Macan started in June and they have built several hundred to date. These should be arriving soon however I don't know if they will be delayed for approval. I wonder if Porsche is trying to build some of these earlier than the typical July/August new year production start assuming they will be delayed a couple months to get approvals. Same with the 2020 Cayenne's.

As for a Turbo S model, who knows? Last time we got the 'Turbo w/ Performance Package', with Porsche's explanation that a true 'Turbo S' would have had to include PCCBs as standard. Lets' see what happens this time around.

2020 Macan Base and S have both been EPA certified with data already listed on EPA.GOV. I believe the base 2020 has also been CARB certified as well. Official Porsche Release date is August 25th.
My 2020 Macan S will be arriving actually tonight to Jacksonville port. Expect to receive delivery by the end of the month/next couple of weeks. If you are leasing go with 2019. If you are buying go with 2020 unless you get a steep discount. Otherwise, youd be hopping into a technically 1 year old car.

Congratulations. Let us know how you like it once you have experienced it. Was your 2020 Macan S manufactured to your specific "build?" We had to order our specific 2020 Macan S as none were showing enroute or here with our configuration. Expected delivery is just before Christmas. May also be that we are in Los Angeles that adds to the journey.

Hi,
Perimeter Porsche in Atlanta and Jacksonville Porsche dealerships have both started listing a few 2020s as “incoming”
