I'm looking at a base MY20 Macan. The Macan being based on the Audi Q5, with PAG just doing their magic, seems kind of overpriced on their prepaid maintenance. On the Audi you can spec it for $999 whereas with the Macan I was quoted ~$3.7k for the same 4 year time frame.

What am I missing?

Maintenance for the first few years are glorified oil changes. I would pass for $3,700.

 

I passed on this. I want the choice to take the car to an indi. First annual service is included starting with 2018 model year. So, service dollars are a couple of years out.
