30,000 mile service

I paid $133 for a brake flush at my really good Indy and they didn’t wash my wheels so that was a bargain. My oil change on the Turbo was $140 vs $360 charged on this invoice.
Oops I stand corrected. Just the wheel wash was $140. I see they charged $245 for the brakes.

Ben’s experience will lead me to my local Indi. Just need to save the invoices for warranty. If Porsche dealers were just a bit more than indi’s, it would be more attractive to use their service. This just appears to be gouging.
Those that bring your car to the dealer, no insult intended.

Do you have PTV on your Macan that could explain the rear brake wear. As a side note, the Q5 was also replace rotors and pads at the same time. The rotors are not that thick, so they maybe in spec but not for long, so while you are in there it’s easier to just replace the rotors at the same time,
Yeah, to say I was shocked at the prices, would be a gross understatement.
As an FYI, my SA informed me he will give me a little discount, so I won't pay the full amount. Picking up the wife's Macan S tomorrow morning. It is what it is...

Macan 30M Service and Rear Brakes
Just reviewed the entire thread. Two posts related to my issue, but will respond without tracking each of them. Our 2017 Macan S with just under 30,000 miles (put into service April 2016) is at the dealer. FYI, almost 1/2 the miles are highway miles; several long trips. Quote for oil/filter and spark plugs: $925 (bingo, a post above). Also, I was warned that the rear pads are iffy and in/when they trigger the warning sensors, we'll have to replace the rotors as well as the sensors and pads (bingo another post above)...but do the pads now and they'll re-use the rotors. Told them NO on this one (reckon to check with my go-to local indy). So: replacing the Macan rear brakes at around 30,000 miles is the new normal?

My need brakes light just came on this week. I knew it would be close, as I just put the winter wheels on the car. Pads looked to be about 2mm.
I just changed my Lower control arms on my X5. Dealership quote was $2049 in tax. I sourced the parts, and did it in 3 hours for $133. Yes, 133.
I deserve my own lift too.
I will be sourcing Macan rotors, pads and sensors next week, with a Black Friday discount. Front brakes look like 2 bolts and one screw. Back brakes? still researching.

Brake pad wear sufficient to cause the wear sensor to trigger does not necessarily mean a requirement to replace the rotors. Minimum rotor thickness is the criteria. Pads can be changed without replacing the rotors as long as there's sufficient thickness. Service advisors must be on incentive or commission to pad customers' bills. BTW, I just bled my brakes for the price of a liter of ATE TYP200...about $13.00....and yes, I washed my wheels, not because I spilled brake fluid on them but because I put them away and mounted the Winter set.

7. Windshield Wiper Inserts: $90.60
I was complaining about the CGT being $143. for one. (Classic part now) then they told me the 918 wiper (1) was $920 bucks! seems cheap
