OEM from dealer was approx $130.00 US dollars. Weathertech is also approx $130.00 US dollars. Both are good quality. OEM is only black. Weathertech can be in black, brown, tan, and grey.

 

Had a Canvasback in my 4Runner and it was the first thing I ordered for my Macan. Not sure if they ship to AUS but I will have a Canvasback in all my future SUV-type vehicles.

Have rubber mat as well as canvasback if you want to protect the sides and the rear.

 

Porsche has a reversible trunk mat to match the major interior colors. It's carpeted on one side, and rubber on the other, and of course, fits perfectly. I have one. Initially I got the Porsche plastic low-sided liner but it’s very slick and also covers the tie-down connectors on the cargo floor.

I replaced it with the Porsche reversible cargo mat and also got the Porsche cargo net. The reversible mat allows access to the tie-downs to which I can connect and use the cargo net. Very pleased with this setup.

I can still use the plastic cargo liner if I need to carry something rather messy, but I don’t really plan to do that. I have other vehicles I can use in that case.

I have the Weathertech mat and their 'four boxes' idea but the real answer might be for me to get a bunch of milk crates. Has anybody tried that approach?

 

I have a hate hate, relationship with my Weathertech rear cargo set up. Boy is is slippery. I love how easy it is to clean.
But its a sports truck and I tend to take advantage of that feature.
I have a Home Depot welcome mat in the back of my other car.
It is not a sliddie... Also ten bucks.

 

I have a rubber liner from weather tech which is awesome.

 

Check out Kagu 3D Spider mats. Flexible. Textured, less utilitarian feeling. Have full set in Macan and 2 other DD’s. Clean up nicely and use year round.

Thanks. I like the rubber side but what causes you to use the carpet side when the cargo area is already trimmed in carpet?

 

Great question. I think some folks really like the OEM carpet covering, but just want some extra measure of protection for the carpeted cargo area, versus a carpeted mat which is much easier (and cheaper) to replace if need be.

And when you do use the rubber side, it's nice and 'grippy' and the rubber side is more 'gunk' proof obviously. Again I really like this reversible mat in combination with the OEM cargo net. It also comes with a rubber fold-out bumper cover that protects the rear painted portion when loading and unloading. It attaches to both sides (carpeted or rubber) via a heavy duty velcro strip.
