Checking in to see how your experience has been so far with the springs. I just got a base Macan with steel springs (no PASM) and want to lower it. A local shop said they've done both springs and coil overs and definitely recommend the latter. He said that two customers for whom he's done springs only have both been bottoming out the suspension. Have you had any of those issues? What about bounciness that some talk about when mixing lowering springs with stock shocks?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Appreciate the feedback! No plans to track. Coming from a Boxster, so looking to get as much sportiness as possible without dropping a huge amount of cash.

One follow-up question: have you had four people in the car with the new springs? If so, any problems like bottoming out? Thanks again!

Hey Guys, I'm curious? Local European shop told me they DO NOT recommend lowering the Macan period. Service Manager said there has been repeated issues with the HR Springs creaking and making noise after they have been installed! "Poor Installation?" He then quoted me $2200.00 for labor!!!I have a set I'm waiting to install. Has anybody experience noise and creaking? 2016 Macan S

yes it happens with H&R, you have a clunking noise when you turn the steering wheel at very low speed or your are stopped, for example when you are parking the spring rotates a bit and makes this clunking sound, but driving at normal speed there is no problem or sound. Mine were installed by the dealer
