Why Only Chrome/Silver Trim Interiors?

let me get a list of other parts I have hacked.. err fixed. if i can get time to make some more.. I dislike the chrome/brushed alum look..

The "aluminum" is most likely chrome plated plastic. These are injection molded parts versus aluminum wrapped or back injected.
In some other models, they use paint over plastic which is even cheaper looking to me than the chrome. I agree they should offer a "black chrome" or matte black version to complement the exterior bits.
