I second the turbo, the low end is very noticeable and generally they are pretty loaded. I'd say the 18-way seats and S/C are my favorite options. I did try air and non-air suspension (with PASM). I prefer the coils. The car felt more connected and drove quite fine dynamically.
By far and away my favorite option on my '16 S is the adaptive cruise control. I like the air suspension, heated steering wheel, 340 HP. Wish I had the upgraded sound.

Ditto. Add the Cobb Access Port and happiness will be upon you.
I opened this thread expecting to read about the decision process of buying a Macan Turbo used as an Uber. Alas I was disappointed...
While a Macan Turbo will certainly be fun to drive as a vehicle providing Uber service, it may be less fun when
it wants to keep pulling into gas stations for refueling! In town mileage is not very good, if that's where you're going
to be providing most of your Uber rides.
I'm guessing you'd be listed as a performance/luxury Uber ride and commanding a higher price?
FWIW, since July acquisition, generally have driven in sport mode. Now that winter has hit and for grins, the last 2 tanks I have switched off Sport, leaving air suspension in low mode but sport. On winter 93 blend, I am averaging about 1.5 mpg more off Sport mode BUT the PDK sure upshifts quickly and takes a lot of fun off the table... not sure the trade off is worth it.
Honestly, when paying ~$70K for a used Macan Turbo, I really couldn't give a flying f* about saving a few hundred a year on fuel...
Amen, gotta pay to play.
And on that front, why I also went with the T over the GTS. I'm in the 'no replacement for displacement' crowd, plus liked the uniqueness of the 3.6 as it is a Porsche developed engine used solely in this platform (and likely one-and-done as the new T will adopt the 2.9 Audi engine). Yes, with Cobb I could've gotten a GTS to a T level (and beyond), but that is what I had planned to do with a T anyhow, so the delta would have remained. Only thing I truly preferred more in the GTS was the suspension, but with an H&R Air Suspension module I've addressed my only gripe with the T.
Either way, can't go wrong, these are positive emotion-stirring vehicles.
Yup, I'm convinced on the Turbo vs. GTS for a used purchase.
Found one that looked awesome, but out of town and I fked around too long and it sold.
Anyone here snag it? Looked like a beauty, 7K miles, CPO, Air suspension, torque vectoring, sport chrono, Burmester, LED lights, leather package, etc. They offered it to me at $71.5K, probably should have jumped on it but had some other priorities that day.
Why compromise on the power of the Turbo and the handling of the GTS!?
Get a "Turbo GTS" also known as the Turbo PP. It has more power than the Turbo and the lower suspension, bigger brakes and driving dynamic of the GTS.
Problem solved!
Went with the Turbo but added the sport exhaust, sport plus package among other things. Sticker was at $96K but it’s the ultimate luxury, daily and surprisingly nimble on the back roads.
I agree, when buying used it makes more sense to go with a Turbo. Brand new I would say the GTS, but the resale on them is very high. I really like my Turbo but I would happily trade some power for the GTS's handling if I could have gotten a GTS for the same price.
