Hi, If this is not the right place let me know where to move it. I have a 2016 macan s that is just on 40k service. I will be turning in the lease in 3 months at 45k. 40k service is oil and tranny fluid and filter. That is 1800 at the dealer or 1100 at a indy shop here in the bay area. The porsche dealer brought up a good point today when I called for a quote. He said why pay for the tranny service when you are going to turn it in shortly. They said just do the oil change and let the next guy take care of the tranny. My question is wont I just pay it later when I turn the car in? Also does anyone have details on what I should look for when I turn in the lease. scratch and dent wise.
thanks!
thanks!

What is required is in the manual.
Dealer may "recommend" stuff. But that is just a cash grab.
Required? You should do, but you can do anywhere. If the dealer is your choise. Great.
An indy can do the same job, and if documented on your indy invoice, you should be fine.
If you don't like the 7oo dollar premium your dealer is asking. Ask them to to match it.
The Audi store should be able to do the same job. Shop it there ! I'm sure VW should be good too.
Often a lease return, they send out an inspector to your car.
They look at dents and scratches, tire tread depth.
Your original lease agreement should cover what is needed.
If this dude does come do an inspection. Take pictures yourself.
He said 6 inch, you can prove 3.
4oK return? They will WANT this car.
If you have Weathertech like mats in there that were not part of the lease. Don't send them back with the lease return.
Snow tires? That were not part of the lease. Keep them an sell them.
If you're too lazy to sell them? I am a great cause.
