Curious if this voids an extended warranty. Or can you flash to stock but is all that history in the computer anyway and they deny any claim.

They will know. Whether they decide to deny any claim or service is based on what the issue is and who the dealer is.

I flash it back to stock before taking the car into the dealer. It takes about five minutes to do. I carry the Cobb gear in the car along with things that I will need for other car purposes so it is there if you need to do this on the fly,

Same here.

As ppl have mentioned, really depends on the dealer. Mine doesn't care, heck, they even sold as a CPO a Macan T that came with the Cobb AP and even advertised it as such!

I just picked up a 2017 S. Of course I would take more power but I really don’t want an extra 100 lb-ft @ 2700 rpm. I wish I could get a tune that only adds 40-50 lb-ft at peak but holds it for as long as it can.

BTW, I absolutely love this thing.

Just FYI it appears that Cobb has an OEM+ tune as well that mimics the GTS level of power in the S. You may want to consider that...?

Recently bought macan turbo and first thing I did was Cobb tune. Major improvement in performance. Quite impressive lil suv now. 500+ miles with zero issues.

Have cobb time on my raptor as well.

Curious as to performance numbers once your tune is done. In my case specifically, what numbers would someone be looking at, for example, for a 2018 Macan Turbo with ~15K miles on it.

I haven't dyno'd our car because it requires an AWD dyno and we don't have many here in our part of the world. I will see if we can try and make that happen over the next few months.

Have you done any pro tunes on a GTS?

Why do tuners go quiet when you ask pointed questions like this?

Sorry, I missed the thread update! I apologize - thanks for the additional ping. I have done a few custom tunes for GTS owners, all of whom are happy with the results! In fact, they all complained about a hesitation or a stumble on the stock file that has been cleaned up with our custom tune.

The results via Cobb's site from the Macan Turbo are shown below. I alos provided a link to the other Macan models. I have to use their data; normally i just provide our own dyno runs and analysis but with this car's being AWD and because of where we are located, it's really hard for me to get on a dyno with it.

They have something along those lines. I developed something similar for an S owner in Massachussetts that wanted the GTS power on his S and after a few swings at it, he's over the moon and loving it!

So it doesn't require an initial bench flash like the 911 does? Just plug it in and go?
