Has anyone removed the Top Shield (which the hood safety latches go through) [Part # 95B 805 806 L 1E0] to access and remove the front center Black Plastic Grille [95B 807 683K 1E0] for the Macan? See image below, which shows the Top Shield and the Grille just below it. I would like to get to the radiator louvers and engine water
radiator for cleaning.
I have searched the Macanforum and Youtube, and came up empty. I would like to know what fasterners are involved, and how best to safely remove them, so as to replace those same fasterners when reassembling the Black Grille and the Top Shield. Thanks in advance for any help or directions.
Good question! Subscribing to this thread for future answers. I scratched up my hands pretty good last weekend reaching through the front grill slats to clean the louvers! Would love to have better access.

Thanks to that poster for his clear explanation, and images illustrating the fasteners involved.
Thanks NC. That attachment is very informative. It also appears that removing that top cover doesn't really give you access to the louvers to clean them. There seems to be a fair amount of structure underneath the cover that would prevent getting down into that area. Let me know if anyone's actual experience proves otherwise.
