Default Took delivery of 2018 Macan Turbo PP

Just took delivery of my Macan last Thursday after sitting at the port since late July waiting for CARB certification. 9 days 900 Miles later I am loving this car. The power and torque on this car is seamless and readily available, and I haven’t push it yet due to break in period. Now my 2009 C4S with 101K Miles can take a break and enjoy her semi retirement

Beautiful. Congrats.

Macan's are so sneaky good that your poor C4S will soon be moping around the pasture.
Ok, winter doesn't help.

Congrats, and as others have said, great color combo. I've a 2009 C4S also, and a base Macan. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the performance of the Turbo Macan vs. the C4S.

That sucks! But, hopefully, this is a one time problem and won't be repeated for other folks getting cars next year.

Are you able to provide comparative analysis on the Turbo w/PP as compared to the Turbo wo/PP?

We have a Turbo and are considering getting a Turbo w/PP, but I'd like to get some anecdotes on how they differ subjectively before pulling the trigger.

It is early to compare the Macan and my C4S due to the break in period. However I can tell you in Sport mode up to 4000RPM it pulls harder than my C4S likely due to the readily available torque and cornering was surprisely flat but not quite 911 which I knew. The 18 way seat is excellent in keeping my body stable. I am 5’7” 155 pounds and the lumbar adjustment keeps my body snug and very comfortable in 1+ hour ride.

I test drove the turbo( non PP) 6 months ago and I was impressed with it back then. However that was long time ago and I honestly can’t give you comparison of the two. One thing I can tell you is the PSE(after 900 Miles) in the Macan Turbo PP is way louder than the turbo with regular exhaust I test drove.

This may also be due to less sound insulation in the w/PP Macan?

I would assumed the sound insulation is the same. The PSE for first few hundred miles weren’t dramatic but the last couple hundred miles it suddenly start to waking up. We will see after 2000 Miles
