Default DIY - Front/Rear Brake Pad

2017 Macan GTS with steel rotors. So I got a brake pad wear warning light. Anyone have information on the caliper bolt torque requirements for the fronts and rears?

FWIW - a 2017 GTS and you're getting a 'brake pad wear' warning already?!?!

you live on top of a mountain?

go to driving schools frequently?

drive with one foot resting on the brake pedal while the other one is on the gas pedal?

Thanks but I didn't see any recommendations for Macan caliper bolt torque values.

I take my GTS to the track.

The Macan front caliper bolts are spec. 10.9 M14x1.5x115. While I can't find any specific Porsche-recommended torque value, generic charts indicate something on the order of 136 ft. lb.

My manual says the torque spec for the bolts is 118 lb-ft. It's on page 303 with the instructions for jacking up the car and changing out a tire.

That's for the wheel lug nuts. Need for the caliper bolts.

Sorry, my misunderstanding. Years back when I did a rotor replacement on my Boxster, I just called the SA at my dealer and asked him to look it up for me. I'm sure it's in a tech manual somewhere but as the brakes on the Macan are essentially Audi parts I wouldn't expect the torque spec to be the same as on other Porsches.

The AUDI Q5 front calipers are 4 pot, not 6 pot and are not mounted like ours. There is no correlation of torque values.
