Ride quality
Hello,
Recently took delivery of a Macan 4S, 21 inch wheels and air suspension. Am surprised to find out that the ride quality is a bit of the stiff side. Previous EV was a Taycan 4S, and that ride much smoother on our deteriorated UK roads.
Anyone else with similar thoughts? I’ve checked air pressures, tyres are some sort of Michelins.
Otherwise quite happy with the car, more useable and practical for daily/family use, so quite happy with the swap.

The sweet spot, for me, is Sport mode. Sport Plus is much too choppy for minimal handling gain.
I know this is going to sound blasphemous, but this Macan Turbo as an overall package handles better and is much easier to drive than my 992.

For what it’s worth, when I got my current car (I’m not taking delivery of the Macan for another month) there were several instances of people receiving their cars with plastic spacers left in the suspension. The spacers help to stiffen the suspension to prevent the car from moving while lashed down on a transport ship. Some lazy techs didn’t follow the pre-delivery process and simply checked off on the sheet that the spacers were removed.
I suppose something similar could have happened here. Certainly worth checking. Another thing I would do is ask the dealer to drive a similarly equipped Macan for comparison.
