Bi tone black/beige Extended leather package has two different names, depending on the configurator country… but the rendering is always the same.

my question is: is it Limestone beige or Chalk beige?


US: limestone

Europe (Belgium): chalk

Canada: chalk

Not sure I fully understand your questions, but it is the same color with a different name. Like the paint names chalk vs. crayon – same color, different names in different parts of the world. Or fries (US) vs. chips (British).

I like chalk beige better as a name though.

In the US Configurator, there are both options black/[chalk/limestone beige], but in different sections.

Standard Interior available in Black/Limestone Beige
Leather Package in Black/Chalk
Leather Interior Black/Limestone Beige.

On switching, the Chalk option looks a little grayer in the photos, but they are very, very similar, and the difference may only be in the configurator pictures. This is one thing I want to see in a real car before locking my build.

It is ok with the standard interior, no discrepancies here.
I don’t like this color, it is too white for me, and I want extended leather…

I am talking about the Extended leather, which is in the second section and the most expensive option.

Depending on the country, they don’t use the same name, and in France, Limestone is different beige than Chalk option (two different option code)
I prefer Limestone, and I hope it will be Limestone!

The launch turbo car was IG and, I guess, extended leather limestone interior, I want that color, not chalk!
And that color into the Turbo launch car is not the same as the one shown in the configurator with extended leather black/limestone beige…

The option codes are the same regardless of the differences in language. The extended leather is Limestone Beige.

In the US Configurator:
PO - Leather Package in Black/Chalk
BL - Leather Interior in Black/Limestone Beige

In the French Configurator:
JL - Intérieur bicolore en Noir / Beige Calcaire (Limestone Beige)
PO - Pack cuir Noir / Craie (Chalk)
BL - Pack cuir étendu Noir / Beige Calcaire (Limestone Beige)

Thanks @sparkhill : good idea was to look at the option codes.

So the real option is “Limestone”, not Chalk (for extended leather) as stated wrongly in Belgium/Canadian websites.
Happy with that, Limestone is a bit darker than Chalk, and hopefully easier to maintain.

On the top is Leather Interior (more $$) Black and Beige

Right below is Leather Package in Black/Chalk

The dealer pointed out that the Leather Package in Black/Chalk (which is what I ordered) in the picture has a matte black but in the Macan 4s at least is the same glossier black.

I found the Chalk to have a brownish hue.

I also noticed you can get a more accurate sense of exterior and interior colors by using the 360 view option.

The very cool thing with these bi tone porsche interiors, is that there are contrasting stitching on dashboard and, (only with extended leather), on the upper door parts.

Thank you for sharing. I have been searching for more examples of the limestone in daylight. My Limestone/Black is still in transit from the port and it seems like every post is Chalk/Black heh. If you get anymore pics please post!

I am in the same team: pictures have been taken by dealership, but I am now sure that limestone color is exactly what I want (compared to the lighter chalk/black, which is gorgeous but too white for my tastes).
I will post as soon as I have new pictures, but it could take a week before delivery. Hopefully your new beautiful macan will be there in less a week

I've had the same experience. The Chalk is beautiful but too white for my taste. I feel like the limestone is going to be stunning with the Neodyme accents and the Oak Green exterior. I also ordered mine with contrast center panels in black to help keep it main portion of the seat clean from wear and tear. Looks wonderful.
Our leather sofa at home is in this beige colour. We wanted a bit different, so went for chalk/black (in the UK configurator, its shown as crayon/black) 😉
