Default Porsche Dashcam
We opted-in for the porsche dashcam wiring but unsure where/how we can buy a dashcam that is compatible w/ this wiring. Is it just going to be like a USB wire hanging out that we can attach to any generic dashcam?

Chatting with reps, they’ve all told me NOT to get the Porsche dashcam because it’s bulky and annoying to use.

Aa a result, decided not to get the wiring for it either seeing as the connectors are proprietary.

also you lose wireless carplay from what I understand…not a good product.

Correct, it connects either to CarPlay or to the Dashcam… 🤦🏻‍♂️

There must be some Porsche compatible dashcams for its pre-wiring.
Does anyone know the best dashcams in the market?
