Yeah my SA told me they have no Turbo allocations so far. I was planning on a late 2024 or early 2025 delivery so I’m not too concerned but…. Let the waiting game begin.

Same at my small local dealer. He also told me that I was "first" on their Turbo list, but it sure seemed more like I was "only" on their list, and the demand was not overly robust. It is sometimes difficult to decipher SA conversations though.

Same here - BayArea. Demo vehicles are likely arriving soonish, but I'm not expecting my Turbo order to arrive until sometime in 2025...
Interesting notes on my order summary my SA sent me. September 20th delivery. Curious if this explains some of the earlier production dates, but holding deliveries until later.

1119 Monroney Label Not Approved
1120 Missing CARB/FED Certification
The 2024 Cayenne updated hybrids had their US deliveries delayed by a year for CARB/FED certification. I haven't seen an explanation for this, so I'm thinking it's a bit optimistic to expect Macan EV to get delivered this year. I put money down on the day of the Singapore announcement. My SA tells me that Porsche is saying the Macan will be at dealer 10/29. I'll be thrilled to get it before Thanksgiving ... or by Christmas.
As we continually see, Porsche is repeatedly reporting that they will be posting the EPA numbers this summer, or sometimes alternatively stating just before the first ones arrives. Let us hope that the Cayenne hybrid was a unique set of problems and Macan EV’s are customer delivered when already promised. Many of you have waited so long and deserve them soonest.
To be fair, they should have given EPA numbers before accepting orders, not before they start arriving.
People need to know what they are buying beforehand. Although, we all have pretty good idea what the likely range is going to be based on reviews and WLTP range but still EPA rage is meant to be given before buying.
I think the test drive of the near final candidates earlier this year, where journalists were allowed to test and report range was clearly their strategy on early info. They did announce ranges at press release. Absent of those data points, would have been hard for me to order. See how long this drags out.
The SA provided an update on my order placed on March 24. The frozen date remains June 9, 2024, with the delivery date set for September 20, 2024, in Austin, TX. However, I was disappointed to learn that the test drive, originally expected to be available between June and July, will now only be available when my car arrives in September.
I was told and posted here a fair amount of time back, that our entire Pacific Northwest Macan EV arrival, customer introduction, and test drive day will be the week of September 16th. Maybe so for all the U.S.?
All Macans (4 & Turbo - Demo/Customer) are on port hold until September 20th.
NHSTA VIN Decoder is first step, Then EPA Certification, Last CARB Executive Order.
VIN Decoder was submitted 6/14, EPA Cert is still pending. CARB can't happen until EPA.
