I am posting this thread for my father who has been working in the same place for almost 20 years rebuilding Truck Transmissions, Making Driveshafts, Rebuilding single and 2 speed differentials, PTOs and more. Due to the economy John's Truck Parts in New york (who deal with 1 to 100 ton vehicles)is almost going out of business and he had been laid off. He has been the head re-builder there for almost 20 yrs and is a master at it!
He is having trouble finding a job, wondering if anyone is hiring. He is also a mechanic but Transmissions and drivelines are his absolute specialty.
Please PM me is there is some thing available. He is located in NYC or the Catskill/Hudson Valley upstate area.

BTW He has a 1987 Porshce 951 as well.....
