I don't really know, either. What really surprises me is that Mike in Chi has apparently vanished, though he's the founder of this group (HWFM). I did notice some folks during my few visits to JohnD's new forum, but I don't really hang out there much, so it could be there are more than I think. No big for me -- I am overall very happy with RL and will stay here for many years to come.

RANDY!!! Guess what?!? Have you heard? I have a 993 (FINALLY) and there's a dang good chance I'll be at Road Atlanta over the 4th in July. Are you going? Several of our local smocal P-club folks are working pretty hard to convince me to go. It's great having a rep as an instructor. Yeah, I'll have to pay for this one, of course. But TEAM might finally be expanding. Woot!

So . . . uhhh . . . any advice on that course? Do you have a drawing of the line? Advice on what to look out for? Yeah, I'm a little excited.

Bonnie, I guess you're doing the BMW event. Is it still on? I got an email saying they might have to cancel do to low turnout. For me the problem is the $470.00 fee.

I spent this last weekend at RA w/PCA. Great weather. Great event.

What to look out for? Your marks at every turn. Not a forgiving track. Plan on being tired at the end of each day.

Congrats on the 993. I thought you already had one. Still got the SM?

I was about to buy a 96 Arena Red Metallic when I found the Iris Blue Metallic that I DID buy. I'm glad I went and looked, that is for sure!

Yes, I plan to attend the BMW event. I've got a couple of guys in our local Porsche club that want me to learn the track so that I may instruct out here.

I cannot give out JD's forum addy as I think it's against the rules, but PM me and I'll do it that way, just in case. It's a nice place, but nowhere near as active as right here on RL. If you do sign up, please support the cause as I did.

Yeah, I check there too, but unless there is some private forum (always a possibility) I don't see many of the regulars. Doug Crossman was at our CR a few weeks ago and I was going to collar him and ask him, but never got th chance.
Sorry to see this go- was a great amount of fun w/ great people.

In order to see/access it, you have to be "invited" by a current member...really.
And if you get caught passing notes during class, you're out of the club...really.
