The Can-Am DVD arrived today. It is spectacular. Covers 1966-1973. Cool and crazy cars.

Hey Mike,
10 days? I plan on pulling into Elkhart Lake 7 days from right now. See you at Seibkins in 7 days and 10 minutes!

Please bring an extra bumper sticker if you have one. I messed mine up a little bit in Montreal.
Jim

p.s. I'm watching very unattractive eastern european women race walk in the rain. I need a life.

(Some people find begging unbecoming, but they've never had your seven layer cookies...)

OMG, you're right. We will be there in a week. Time is flying by. My turn to buy.

I will bring all the remaining stickers. JW needs a couple for his new specster.

Beach volleyball in the rain last night definitely beats race walk in the rain. I'm taking the night off from the O's

Sunday

Are any of the reunions held in the last 10 years on the DVD?

I had the good fortune to be at one of the first at a Brian Redmund Classic at Road America.

I was by the flag station at 8, which is just feet off the track.

There were about 25 of the cars covering the entire existence of the series.

The ground literally shook when they went by massed together on the first lap of their "race".

No reunion stuff, just footage from the olden days. Some seasons were well covered and one or two had hardly any footage.

The other cool historic video I have is 50 years of F1 onboard. Great stuff if you have not seen that one.

Just come visit Kansas, get away from all that boring scenery around you and I'll let you see the mini collection.

Wow--Just looked at the weather forecast for Road America and it's STUNNING. High 70s during the day, dipping into the 50s at night....FAN-TAS-TIC.

Hey BT...My daughter was wondering if we could sell some of the cookies at RA for Rennwish. What do you think? Should I tell her it's a good idea? Just have the cookies at the trailer and a little tin for donations? Maybe post on the Racing and DE thread that the Jupeling is wanting to do a little philanthropy via her mom's baking?

Don't worry--I'll give you your 7 layer cookies as my political donation to the HWFMR Presidency...
