Default How I will beat my Arch Nemesis at Road America this year.

Yes our teammate, Doug Crossman, has been extremely fast this year. Why even the legendary Mark Hupfer is working hard to keep up with him.

But I been practicing.

This is our recently completed, but not yet landscaped, driveway.

It has been built to the exact dimension of Road America's Hurry Downs, even down to the radii of turns 6, 7, and 8.

Nemesis, you will be MINE!

Yes.
Since Winter starts the end of next month, you'll get lots of practice.

Actually I did mention to the Missus that FIA curbing would protect the edge of the asphalt in the turns, and if it was bright yellow, people would be able to see it.

This idea was met with a cold, stoney silence. As was the suggestion for a road sign for the top of the drive that said "Mulsanne - 8 km"

Forget the curbs, then, and just put signs numbering each corner!

Already on order.

I bought the breakaway kind, thinking I may eventually be visited by teammates.

I refuse to use apex cones however.

People will just have to learn how to drove before they attempt my driveway.

He will never visit my home.

In fact, I don't think it would be safe for him to set foot in this state.

Doesn't that mean she agrees, as she did not disagree?

Mike,
I think the lack of oxygen is getting to you. That driveway is sweet though---I can see why you love it out there.
Sooo--are you in contract negotiations with any co-drovers. I see that Mr. Baldwin will be at RA--that's who I've got my money on.

--Really looking forward to seeing everybody.

In most instances, absolutely. A free pass.

However, you didn't see the cold, steely glint in her eyes, which non-verbally communicated "Over my dead body... Or yours."

Yes lack of oxygen can cause one to hallucinate.

As to co-drovers: Perhaps I will spend a little time with Mr. Baldwin, but on Friday, not Monday.

The co-drover's seat has been offered to Jeff.

However, if he doesn't make the trip east...

Not to hijack, but I set my driveway up so I could prepare for the East Coast Hill Climb circuit. Here is my wife practicing, with her Niece as riding mechanic:
