Default Crazy Newspaper Article

From the Pensacola News Journal, July 10, 2008:

"Court: Law Bans Sex With the Dead"

"Madison, Wis.

"Wisconsin law bans sex with dead bodies, the state Supreme Court ruled Wednesday in reinstating charges agains three men accused of digging up a corpse so one of them could have sex with it.

"The court waded into the grisly case after lower court judges ruled nothing in state law banning necrophilia. Those decisions prompted public outrage and a push by a state lawmaker to make sex with a corpse a crime.

"In Wednesday's 5-2 decision, the high court said Wisconsin law makes sex acts with dead people illegal because they are unable to give consent.

"The ruling reinstates the attempted sexual assault charges against twin brothers Nicholas and Alexander Grunke and Dustin Radke, all 22. The charges carry a punishment of up to 10 years in prison.

"Justice Patience Roggensack, writing a majority opinion with three other justices, said state law bans sexual intercourse with anyone who does not give consent 'whether the victim is dead or alive at the time.'

"'A reasonably well-informed person would understand the statute to prohibit sexual intercourse with a dead person,' she wrote."

MY GOD what is the world coming to that we actually have to make a law not to have sex with corpses?!? I'm sorry, I just had to share. This was found on page 2A of the Pensacola News Journal. Wow. It's almost not worth the ink and paper it was printed on . . .

Two things immediately jump to mind-
1) it's only because the dead can't give consent. Really that's the only reason the court can come up with?
2) it wasn't an Alabama case!

Trust me she would have laughed her *** off or made the crack herself. She is still strong in my heart and was a real keeper in all ways but one, the one thing is what took her away. Sorry to sound crass or misogynistic it was intended to be dark not ugly.
