Default Efficient and courteous passing technique

Deep_uv and I demonstrate the appropriate way to execute a pass at a DE. With so many folks failing to follow the correct procedures, I thought it would be good to post this. Out of the frame is an assist from VR on the acknowledgment wave.

Excellent! First you catch him in his Flexible Flyer, then observe him wandering about the track, then execute the pass. I like the way you were able to concentrate even with VR next to you playing patty cake or WTF he was doing.

Oh, thanks for posting video from my first session asshat laps while I was trying to get used to my new brake pads. I really appreciate that. Those things were so damned touchy compared to what I had been running. It was an eye opener. I'll be sure to return the favor when I get back home.

I'm sure I've provided lots of ammunition out there for you. Hey, what are friends for?

I'll come up with the excuses around here. Don't forget the one I use most often..."I was breaking in some new underwear". That brings an array of looks from the crowd.

Always an excuse. Last DE, it was "I'm not used to my new tires yet..." Wah wah wah. Just drive the **** out of it!

Sorry for being astute enough to know what has changed my car's handling characteristics.

Watch out Mr. Smartass, I've got tons of blooper video on you. Most of which there's absolutely no excuse for.

Sure there is... My excuse is that I usually forget and leave the "Driving Skills" **** on the dash set to "Off"....

Jeeze, someone's touchy around here. I post a simple, instructional video, and look what happens...

Yes, I thought he did a very good job of giving the pass signal, something that he has obviously studied and practiced often.

Ha, It would take a whole lot more than that to get under my skin. I can drive much, much worse than that. Good to see you've taken a page from the work of your favorite cinematographer.
