Default Three Weeks to Go . . .

until I move away from California. I am so nervous I can't even describe it! I've never moved that far from where I was born. Not to mention I've never driven that far on any trip. If you guys see a Budget 16' truck with a white Spec Miata #36 in-tow rolling through, be sure to at least give me the finger.

WHoo hooo! 1st post!

I've moved over 9 times. Been on both coasts. North and south. People suck everywhere you go. You won't be dissapointed.

Lol, Bill. I'll keep that in mind as we roll through Texas.

Bon don't be nervous. We got some good ole boys down here that should put your mind at ease.

Yep, that about sums it up! Other then climate, it is all about the same. East, West, North, South, whether you like a particular location will usually boil down to how much you like what you are doing every day and who you are doing it with.

Well, I've definitely got some work to do on my racecar I recently found, but as soon as I get the clutch replaced, etc., I plan to invest some time in all those new-to-me tracks!

That boy has himself too much weapon to get around effectively in the bush. A good 'ol M1918A2 BAR is all you need, and firing tracers through one on the 4th of July makes for a big time:

Yeah but mine is bigger than yours. It also makes a bigger bang for those 4th of July festivities.

You think that's cool . . . you should see the tracers that the C-130s over at Hurlburt Field fire-off once in a while. Talk about a light show!

Go see your dentist and make sure all your fillings are tight before you come down to Sebring.

Last weekend I did the same thing with the racecar bringing it from WI to NC and get to do it again with the Mini and the dogs this coming weekend. Should be much more fun in the Mini compared to the Van and trailer. The Gas Stops took a long time as usual with people climbing over the car though. Drove through 2-3 Major storms though. My poor car was disgusting by the time I got to VIR.

Have a safe drive and make sure the A/C works. Mine died 3 days before the trip and I didn't have time to fix it.

I've been to Sebring several times (instructing for Chin and getting free track time in a borrowed car), I know what you mean! I still can't understand why folks take 15 so wide . . . right out into the marbles and the crappy pavement. Fools! Seriously, despite the three different kinds of surface there, I love Sebring. I WILL conquer turn 17 someday!

I got the AC fixed on my daily driver last month, Joe. I turn it on at least once a week to make sure it's still working. I can handle no AC, but my cat cannot. My other half and I will be switching off between who drives the rental truck and who drives the daily driver -- but I tell you this, if the AC in that rental goes out they'd best get their butt out to wherever we are to fix it! Oh, and I'm not washing my racecar until I get to Florida. It'll just be full of bugs anyway. Hopefully love bug season is over.
