Heck, I'm still waiting for my year. Maybe it already passed and I just forgot.

Ah, I forgot about that! And, coaching a guy on a bicycle can't be easy.

Especially one with the IQ of dry, white toast.

Dry, white toast has the capability of actually growing (mold) -- you're giving him far too much credit. And dry white toast can also actually benefit some living creature, say, like a hungry bird. Also, dry white toast, when properly seasoned and stored, can be used as croutons to top a salad.

No . . . I think he can be likened to a Dirty Harry quote . . . correct me if I don't get this just right . . . "You're nothing but a pile of dog ****. A lot of things can happen to a pile of dog ****. I can get stepped on; it can get caught up in a lawn mower; or it can dry up and blow away. So do yourself a favor and be careful of where the dog ****s ya."

You ain't kidding about the price of diesel. This is why our SUV has been our hotel room for recent track events.

Thanks, Steve.

One of our instructors' racecars is still "in surgery" -- so he brought out his daily driven Impala to the track event last weekend -- 4.1 miles, 23 turns . . . he stayed ahead of quite a few people!

Mine is gas, not diesel, but same here. I sleep in mine until the nighttime temps stop dipping below 70 degrees (this time of year down here).
