Yeah . . . I always get a crowd of neighbor kids (where they come from I never know) standing in the driveway any time the racecar is outside for whatever reason. It's kinda cool. I've let a few of the kids sit in the car . . . it's just a Spec Miata, but it doesn't matter. It has numbers and race belts and stickers and stuff. They really like that pop-off wheel, too. I'll have to take pics the next time it happens.

Nah, no schools very close by, thank goodness. Just not a lot of interesting cars around where I live. None here in Florida, either. I can't believe I'm moving here next month. Now a whole new set of rug rats will be asking me silly questions. My favorite was, "Is that a racecar?" I swear, it took everything I had not to reply, "Nah, it's just got all those stickers and numbers so I can find it in a parking lot easier."

Having met Dave, and now seen a photo of (supposedly) his daughter, all I can say is VR's wife has got to be a knock-out!

Great photos Dave. She's a doll. Just wait till she can come out to the track and drove with you!

I'm sorry Dave, but there's no way that kid is yours! I mean she's cute and you're.......well.........you know.

She needs some work on "heel toe" downshifting, but the building blocks are definitely there. Trust me, save these pictures to remind your wife why owning a track car is good for the family. (friendly advise)

Thanks, Bill. Thankfully, I have no problems with my wofe and the track car. The negotiations always revolve around available time to actually USE said track car!

[QUOTE=Bonster;5389777]All I remember telling them was, "but I left the e-brake on." [QUOTE]

Wow... you really are a turtle.

Lol, Robert. Our garage was set at a slight incline, so if I had not left the e-brake on, it would have rolled back (and hit the garage door). My brother took that same car for a joy ride once when I was out of town with my folks. It was going around the high school we went to like wild fire. Apparently a cop was chasing him. But you know how those stories can go. I of course informed my parents, being the good little girl that I was. Boy did he get it. My parents hid the keys after that. Dammitt! Older siblings always ruin it for us younger ones. He's had three wrecks since then (maybe more) . . . I've had ZERO wrecks. Interesting . . .
