Great engraving. I need that.

On a related note, some years ago the Texas prison system added laser sights to the rifles in the towers. Amazing thing, when the prisoners got rowdy, as soon as they realized there was a red dot on their chest, they calmed right down.

God Bless Texas!

Larry, I'll let you test-fire the one I get.

I found that you could determine who understood laser sights when using one of those laser pointers during a presentation. I would use it to paint someone's forehead if they were not paying attention or asking annoying questions, etc.

Your audience will pay a lot more attention if you use a laser sight ON the gun.

Just keep them wondering if you are armed with the remainder of the equipment and they tend to settle down anyway. I once brought a revolver and a full sized hangman's noose as props for a presentation. The bed wetters didn't know which bothered them most!

Do that nowadays and you'll end up on CNN with busloads of protestors in front of your house....

I think people also get a bit jumpy when you carry revolvers into conference rooms these days.

If you put your nose against the screen, you can almost smell that.

Let me see if I can do a legendary Rennlister and teammate, DJ, justice
(correct me if I have this wrong, Sunday):

DJ once was being deposed by a rather obnoxious attorney.

In the course of the questioning, it was revealed that Deej had a loaded pistol with him (and the license to carry it, of course).

The lawyer, flummoxed and stammering "I... I ... I didn't know you had a GUN"

DJ: "Why? Would you have been more polite?"
