Having just watched the video, I think your standing is fine. You passed a car that was clearly slowing down to pit. If you look closely, you can see the driver pointing and laughing in your direction. Clearly they slowed down to get a better look at you so as to measure your true incompetence.
But, just to be safe, I think that you should go off track backwards once and spin twice at your next DE.

Lol . . . perhaps I have been misunderstood. I meant someone ELSE in THEIR car spinning, while I sit in the pax seat. I haven't spun my car in over two years.

Gee Greg, THANKS a lot! But Jerry is right to remind us of our team motto, lol. The next event for me might very well be one I am organizing -- which is scary because I plan on driving the 993.

Steve,
Congratulations on the pass! Way to go, buddy!
I have been doing exercises on the left arm to prevent it from tiring during the last couple of laps in the sessions from doing point-bys. Should be good to go next DE.
I spun once, too. (T12, CCW at TWS -- that's LSR code, if some of you don't know.)
But I thought, since Richard Jackson was my instructor, that that's what you were supposed to do. You mean it's not???
Best,
- Mark, err... Capt. Slow - - er
PS: I think it was after that turtle passed me -- the one that turned in late in T2, spun and got run over?

Correct. TWS running CCW. I was not -- briefly.
Here's what happened:
In the Blue group at the time, with the aforementioned instructor (who is a real hoot!), got waved by someone (who must have had a 1. mechanical problem 2. out of gas or 3. forgot to take off the parking brake), now on the waaayyy wrong line but at the correct speed for the proper line.
See where this is going?
Drop two wheels off. And do the usual stupid thing and "ease it back on the pavement" albeit carrying waaayyy too much speed.
Well, as even turtles know, that means a quick trip across the track and begin mowing the grass on the other side. Whether it was CW or CCW whilst mowing, I really don't know.
See? I think I may be qualified after all to be here.
I know I have a few more assignments to complete, but I am getting there.
