LMAO on the replies in regards to my impending 'distinguished' look. He's not one to talk, however -- being six years older, his whole head is full of those darn silvery hairs (he was once a dark blonde too). I warned him that his 50th birthday will come after my 40th, so he best be on his best behavior. I can be pretty evil when necessary.

See what happens when you ask a simple question, Steve? In honesty, I was a blonde as a kid and into my twenties. Around thirty (after college) it started getting a little darker, except for in the summer if I did not wear a hat outside (the sun bleaches my hair a bit even to this day). Recently that dark blonde has started to go platinum (not grey, not silver . . . more of a mix between the two). I figure it this way . . . if blondes are considered to be intellectually challenged, I must have learned something by the color of my hair. Right? Bwahahahaha. Can you tell the weather sucks here today? I'm stuck inside the house. I'd change the oil in the truck, but it's too windy and cold outside. Lol. Man, I'm lazy.

Lol, Bull . . . errr . . . I mean, Ashes. No, the hairs coming in look white if anything. But not bright white like my dad's . . . more like silver. It's hard to explain I guess. No matter, it's just hair. It's kinda like trying to describe the difference between Colorado Red and Arena Red, lol.

So long as the carpet and drapes match, I don't care what color a woman's hair is...

Well that statement pretty much settles it for me, blondie.

Plus with the girls I prefer, you cant use that method.

I was just giving you the business for not picking up on my sardonically ironic sarcastically deadpanned satirical attempt at turtle humor.

I guess if you don't know TWS, it wasn't totally obvious that the guy was pitting in unless you look closely and see his fist out. It actually was the first car that I went by on my first yellow session, so I found it humorous in self deprecating HWFM fashion. Hey, technically he was still on the track and not in the pits when I went by. I'm calling that a pass, baby!!!!

Blonde... Platinum... Gray...

Somehow this seems to fit the direction this thread has taken.

I was beginning to wonder as out here yellow is the rookie group. Getting "promoted" to yellow is a bit of an oxymoron.

{Edit} geese, did this tread take a turn between the post I saw and responded to and the post showing in the list. Does being that slow, late confirm HWFM membership?

Tom, that is the way of the turtle. When things are going slow it goes unnoticed. When it goes by quickly then there is just no keeping up.

When threads wind down, or someone gets a little bored, things always shift to something else around here. Mostly it's probably because we can't remember what the original thread topic was about.

Same confusion here. Green is our newest drovers, with Yellow being instructed drivers with some bit of experience. Blue is the instructed group that is just about ready to go solo, and they usually run with our white group, which is the solo group. Black is advanced and Red is Instructors. sometimes, when we have more Instructors than we can put in one group, we add a Pink group, which is also Instructors....usually those who sign up very late or otherwise have pissed off the Track Chair.

Re your edit.....you expected a thread to stay on topic here??????????????
