Uh-oh...flashback time!! We all learned TM as a family when I was growing up. It's not exactly an easy practice for a 7 year old to sit and meditate on "ing" for an hour. Didn't take with me.

All I remember is the teacher cutting an apple, burning something, and putting it into a handkerchief, as an offering I suppose, and I remember the guy's picture on the wall. From a child's perspective he was a pretty weird-looking guy!

Regardless of quirkiness, it is always sad when true people of peace move on. I would suspect the world is better for him having passed through.
