Actually, I was at ACL festival all day today. It was fantastic. We saw:

Paulo Nutini -- Awesome
Blue October -- Craptacular -- so bad is was humorous
Arctic Monkeys -- Good
Arcade Fire -- Unfrigging believable, one of the best shows I've seen in years

It's hotter than hell in Austin. I'm fried to a crisp & so are my kids. One more day. Tomorrow I'm seeing:

Then we head home. We were supposed to see the White Stripes tonight, but they cancelled. As it turned out, Arcade Fire was so good, we didn't really mind missing the stripes all that much.

It's quiet because many of us are DRIVING. On the track, that is. Woot! And I'm going again next Friday! If the racecar is 'behaving', I think I'll even enter (last minute, oh well -- pay the late fees) the race next weekend. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it. Any takers on the bet that my rusty rear will take last place??? Lol.

Yep, was in Savannah on track all weekend. What a blast. Weather ended up being great after a huge storm Fri. nite.

Hi Boys and Girls! Just back from Pocono, where I frustrated the hell out of myself because I could only watch, no driving. Did manage to organize some the best BS Bench Racing sessions and a party or two though!

Back on the track on the 24th and 25th at The Glen.....

It was a bit chilly, but far less wind than Saturday and lots of sun, so it warmed up nicely (low 60s?). It did rain Sat morning for a couple of hours, but a good time was had by all.
