In my professional opinion, no.
You have a much better chance of going pro than GhotnoTalent. Even at your advanced age.
(And I saw "advanced age" with the respect of one who has seen many Nigerian winters.)

In fact I would bet everything in the bank account of a recently deceased Nigerian General of my acquantance that you will be pro before the Silenced One. (That General was Viken Bubbutu. Do you know of him?)

Double black diamonds in Texas? On what? Grass? We have great slopes out this way. I'm not good enough to ski a diamond slope, but I looked at one from the top at Squaw Valley. Scary.
